Asphalt hot boxes / lorry asphalt discharge system
- Asphalt maintained at correct temperature by two full length gas burners. Control maintained by the thermostat and safety flame failure cut – out device
- Control panel rear mounted with adjustable thermostat and temperature gauge, lid opening and closing controls
- Hopper body is a robust welded structure on a substantial frame. Heating chambers traverse each side with full length burners
- Lid opens wide and low to accommodate plant restrictions for ease of filling
- To prevent draining of the vehicle batteries overnight a hot box can be fitted with 110 / 240v transformer /rectifier to permit the use of mains voltage
- Hydraulic power is provided by vehicle PTO driven pump and controlled via 24v solenoids (a diesel engine can be fitted to a de mountable unit )
- Variable pitch auger is made from “hardox 400” steal wear resistant material. Auger housing made from extra thick material for rigidity and long life
- All vehicles and hot box bodies are sprayed to suit customers requirement
- Vehicles are fitted with lights , reflectors and warning beacons to meet the road regulations
- Robust lids can be opened manually (spring assist) or hydraulically
L.A.D.S. (lorry asphalt discharge system)
The design of asphalt discharge elevator fitted to the tail board of a tipper lorry allows fast, accurate and safer operation.
- Elevator delivers material easily and safely to the road surface or to wheel barrow on pavement
- Discharge conveyer will swing through 180 degrees and elevate to 2.2 metres at a distance of 3m
- Can be retro – fitted onto customers existing vehicles
- Discharge rate up to 60 tonnes per hour
- Conveyor reduces length hydraulically for transport purposes
